Montana Aeronautics Division Responsible for providing for the protection and promotion of safety in aeronautics by facilitating the maintenance of airports and airport infrastructure, educational programs for current and future pilots, registering of aircraft and pilots in accordance with Montana laws and regulations, coordination/supervision of aerial search & rescue operations, and administration of a loan/grant programs to fund municipal airport capital projects. Montana Technical Assistance Program - MonTAP MonTAP for General Aviation Airports promotes and supports general aviation by providing small general aviation airport owners with the information, training and resources they need for day-to-day operations.
